About

Paris, 1889. Bookseller Victor Legris suspects foul play when a series of deaths, all caused by bee stings, are connected with the newly opened Eiffel Tower. His inquiry coincides with his other job on the newspaper Le Passe-partout. When his most promising suspect turns up dead, he's left with the paper's illustrator, an enigmatic Russian woman with whom he's become besotted. Some descriptions of sex and violence, some strong language. 2008.
